ClubHouse Chatter From the Purple Building...All Wrapped Up For You!

We would like to thank all of you who voted for Eclectic Elegance in Channel 4's "Best Of" contest. We won't know the official results for a few days but we already feel like winners! Your support and kind words were awesome and very touching. We love our customers!

As you can see by the picture above, the Purple Building is ready for fall. Our Halloween and Thanksgiving goodies are now on display and ready to find a new home. We have figurines, soaps, candles, and plates that will make perfect decorations for the upcoming season. These treats also make great gifts.

We have several ClubHouse classes this fall. The September 13th container class and the October 18th knitting class are quickly filling up so don't delay. Give us a call at 248-478-7220 to reserve your spot. For more information on all of our classes and upcoming events, check out last week's Blog or give us a ring.

Our very special Ladies Night Out is Friday, September 21st. We are hosting a fundraiser for our friend, Karen, who will be walking 60!!! miles in three days. Her participation in the Michigan 3 Day Walk for the fight against breast cancer is inspiring. We invite all you ladies to this wonderful event which starts at 6:30 p.m. Your $10.00 donation goes directly toward Karen's walk. We will have fun throughout the night with in-store specials, food, beverages, and raffles. As an added bonus, a massage therapist will be here to rub your troubles away. If you are unable to attend the event, we invite you to visit Karen's website where you can donate directly to her cause. Just click on www.the3day.org/michigan07/karenwilkins and help Karen and a super cause.

Please take advantage of our "Early Buy Program". This offer ends on September 30th and you don't want to miss out on saving 10% on your total holiday gift basket order.

The cute barrettes pictured above are made by a local artist. "Lil' Chickadee" barrettes look adorable on little girls (actually big girls, too, as Dana has been seen wearing these sweet felt creations). The barrettes would make a great back to school, thinking of you, or birthday gift. Speaking of back to school, don't forget that college student who is beginning a new chapter in life. We make "care packages" that any college student would love. As always, we customize all of our gift baskets and offer shipping and local delivery.

This week's Blog special: You requested it and we listen. We are going to continue to offer an additional 10% off our already discounted summer merchandise.

We hope you had a great holiday weekend. Take care and we hope to see you soon at the Purple Building in downtown Farmington.

Dana and Nancy
