How CUTE are these! We just received a brand-new shipment of adorable purses by Ms. Elaineous. 1. Our first annual "Pre" Founders Festival extravaganza begins Monday, July 14. Holiday items are an extra 10% off and with a $25 purchase you will receive a $5.00 gift card for your next Eclectic Elegance purchase! These two specials are only good Monday, July 14 thru Thursday, July 17 so come on in and enjoy a week's worth of Founders Festival Fun! Don't forget that 13 of our closest Downtown Farmington merchant friends are also having "Pre" Founders Festival sales and events. For a list of all the participants, please see our previous Blog.
2. Our second annual "Artisans Off the Avenue" will begin the Friday of Founders Festival, July 18. Several local artists will have their work displayed and for sale in our parking lot tents. You won't want to miss their demonstrations which are scheduled for Friday and Saturday 1 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dave will have his potter's wheel spinning; Kathleen will be painting another beautiful watercolor; and Whitney will be creating beautiful glass beads and jewelry. Of course, these fine artists always have their work for sale at your favorite Purple Building!
3. Our third annual "Children's Ceramic Class" will once again be taught by Dave. This two part class begins Wednesday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. and continues the following Wednesday, July 30. Both classes are two hours long and during the instruction, children will be creating their own masterpieces. This class is geared for kids 6 years and older. The cost for all the materials and instruction is $50.00. For more information or to sign up for the class, call us at 248-478-7220.
